Like a bespoke suit hand stitched one seam at a time or a fine meal created by a personal chef, this exclusive release of whisky was painstakingly crafted in 2016 by building up micro batches of double distilled new make, which then spent years ageing in French oak port barrels before finishing its maturation in a premium Heathcote Shiraz barrel.

Created with the utmost precision and attention to detail, this never to be repeated approach brought our team up close and personal with our craft, developing the expertise that resulted in a tremendous score of 90.5 points from Jim Murray. This is a truly rare whisky of elegance, refinement and provenance.

We wish we could say it was mass produced, as we’d have more… the truth is this was a labour not just of love but obsession…
