How do I get to Animus Distillery?
We are located at 1/89a Piper St, Kyneton.
Kyneton is a one hour drive from Melbourne and V/line Bendigo trains stop at Kyneton station. We have plenty of parking onsite and a range of accommodation options nearby.
What makes gin “gin”?
It is believed that the first gin was produced in mid-16th century made from a source of distilled malt wine. The juniper berry was initially incorporated as an available means to mask the inherent unpleasant flavour. This style of gin is known as “Genever”, which evolved in the 1900s into two sub categories based on newer distilling techniques.
Most of the gins produced today are made in the “London Dry” style. This process uses a neutral alcohol base, which in contrast to Genever is lighter on both the nose and palate, with a predominant flavour of juniper berry.
The relaxed definition of what constitutes ‘gin’ has allowed for great experimentation, particularly in recent years. Animus Distillery’s three variations of the London Dry style are testament to this. All of our gins incorporate juniper as a key note. Do you provide International delivery?

As our product contains alcohol, excise and customs duties may apply at the port of entry and these are the responsibility of the purchaser.
How long will it take to receive my order?
We aim to have your order shipped out within 2 working days from when your order is placed. If it's expected to take longer, we will let you know.
What happens if my order arrives damaged?
We go to great lengths to package up your order safe and sound for delivery but sometimes, bad things happen to good people. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and send a photo of the damaged goods to email@example.com and we will be in touch.
