Terms & Conditions of Whisky Release #1 Expression of Interest

Animus Distillery Whisky #1 First Release will be awarded to successful entrants via allocation once the Expression of Interest (EOI) registration period concludes. The EOI registration period will run from Friday 4th August 2023 until Friday 18th August 2023. An entry via this EOI DOES NOT guarantee the chance to purchase. Winners will be notified by email to the email address provided in the EOI entry process. Winners will have 24 hours only to purchase. After 24 hours and if a purchase has not been completed and paid, the entry will be returned to the pool and randomly allocated to a new customer. One entry per valid email address. Limited to one (1) bottle per winning entry. By entering the ballot you agree to accept marketing communications from Animus Distillery. All personal data is used in line with our Privacy Policy. Animus Distillery reserves the right to alter these T&C's at any time. All outcomes are final.

When we began our journey in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, it was one of pain, patience and just a touch of pig-headedness - we made gains, failed spectacularly, created momentary success - until finally we had our first batch of whisky. In truth it was more like our fortieth. And throughout we knew that whatever we achieved would take another five years to be worth shouting about.

We knew our whisky needed the right premium grain, small fermenting tanks that would never compromise our uncompromising vision, the right port-soaked French oak barrels from the Rutherglen region, then the right Heathcote shiraz barrels from the Macedon Ranges to add the perfect finish to every drop. 

Oh, and did we mention the right amount of time?

Distilling award-winning gin and whatever else we fancied was the perfect way to while away those years. And to stay in touch with our customers and our friends, which is frankly the reason we exist. 

Our community spirit is in the Macedon Ranges, our distilled spirit travels the world, but our uncompromising passion lives within us.
