Creating a relaxed, inviting and boutique setting where lovers of fine gin and world-class spirits can come to enjoy a drink has always been part of the Animus vision. Crafting award winning gin is a joy, no doubt, but the opportunity to share with others, now that's truly rewarding.

We've been open a few months now and are more than delighted with the response from the beautiful people of Kyneton who have opened their hearts to welcome us into our historic Piper St precinct. Our lounge is furnished with multiple sumptuous Chesterfield lounges to sink back into as you decide which Animus Gin expression you’d like to sample first.

Our outdoor seating is perfect for Summer.

Gin & Tonic is an easy favourite, available in each of our three Gin expressions and paired perfectly with our tonic of choice from Melbourne’s own StrangeLove.

A cocktail maybe? Our unique in-house cocktail list will not disappoint you with delicious favourites like our Espresso Gintini, the sweetheart with a chilli bite, “Fierce Tilisha” or the satisfying surprise of “The Land of Gin & Honey”.

In addition to Animus Gin, you’ll find an abundant offering of premium whiskies, the very best in Aussie Craft beer and select red, white and sparkling wines from the surrounding Macedon Ranges area including our friends at Bull Lane and Athletico Wines.

And of course, we offer personal Gin Tastings, to open up and reveal the depth, beauty and complexity of our unique Australian artisan gins.

We have also partnered with nearby restaurants to offer you food while you relax in our lounge. Depending on what you feel like, we can organise a nibble plate from Piper St Food Co, something more from Major Toms, Dhaba or Pizza Verde, or a full meal from Wedge St Food & Wine.

There is always something on offer and the locals know what they’re doing when it comes to a delicious plate.

Currently we are open to serve you on Friday nights from 5pm til late, Saturday from midday til late and Sunday from midday to 6pm.
